Whirlpool Oven Error Codes
Whirlpool ovens and ranges show codes in two parts, an F number and an E number, such as F3 E2. The F number points to a system, like the keypad or the temperature sensor, and the E number to the specific fault. Some codes come from the power supply or the wiring at the outlet, not from the oven itself.
Switch the oven off at the breaker before any check, and find your code below for what it means.
- F9 E0 Power supply error: the oven control detected incorrect voltage, most often because the home outlet or the appliance's electrical connection is miswired.
- F2 E1 User interface fault: the range has detected a possible problem with the keypad (user interface), the control or the wiring that connects them.
- F3 E2 Temperature sensor fault: the range detected a possible problem with the oven temperature sensor, the warming drawer sensor (if equipped) or the wiring to these sensors.
