    Miele Dishwasher Error Codes

Miele dishwashers show F codes on the display, or flash an indicator light on models without one. Miele is unusually clear about which faults you can fix: drain codes such as F11 have step-by-step home fixes, while electronic faults such as F24 go straight to a repair booking.

Choose your code below for what it means and what to do next.

    • F70 Waterproof system activated: Miele's leak protection has tripped and stopped the program.
    • F78 Circulation pump blocked: the wash pump is stuck, often after the dishwasher sat unused.
    • F11 Drain fault: the dishwasher couldn't pump the water out, so it stands in the wash cabinet.
    • F14 Water intake fault: the circulation pump is stuck, or a pressure or heating level switch has a fault.
    • F24 Heating relay fault: the relay that switches the water heater has a contact fault.
